My family and friends are very important to me. Mum, Dad, my Sister and my Grandma are all here in Auckland. We are a very tight knit group and all four of them are a huge support in my tennis. Julia (my sister) and I started to play tennis together with my dad from a young age. Dad still does a bit of travelling with me when he is not working, and mum and Julia have done a few trips too. It is always nice to have a family member with you when you are far away from home, that covers a lot of the support criteria.
I attended Glendowie College. Most of my friends are from high school and intermediate school. I try to keep in touch as much as I can since I travel so much.
The girls on tour are also very friendly, however I only have a few very close friends on the tennis side of things, as there is always competition involved on and off the court.
