17 December 2012Back in NZ after Florida boot campKiwi tennis number 1, Marina Erakovic has got big plans for the 2013 season so she made the most of her off-season by increasing her training intensity with a three-week tennis boot camp in Florida. The boot camp was a different training experience for Marina, and one that she is certain will pay off in the long run. “It’s a different kind of training over there, there are a lot of players all coming to train together so it really pushed me and made me step up my game.” Marina arrives back in Auckland mid December to spend Christmas day with her family before the ASB Classic starts on December 31st. Currently the world No 67, Marina has earned direct entry into the field for Auckland's ASB Classic for a second year running. |
